In 2006, Pastor Perry was taken into a three-day open vision. In this vision Jesus came to him and said, “Come Perry and let me show you something”. He was taken to what appeared to be an inner city drug infested alley. In this alley he saw a beautiful young lady seemingly in her mid-twenties to early thirties. She was dressed the way middle eastern women dressed, covered from head to toe, only her face was exposed. Even though she was very beautiful, her dress was an old, faded sea blue dress. She sat alone with a sheepish look and began to scratch herself, because she had dry sores all over her body. As he looked at this young lady and wondered who she was and why she was alone in this awful place, Jesus who was walking with him said; “Do you know who this is?” He answered, “no Lord” Jesus then replied, “this is My Bride” (The Church). Pastor Perry could feel the heart of Jesus for His Bride. He could feel the love Jesus has for His bride and how much Jesus wanted to rescue and adorn her. Then Jesus turned to Pastor Perry and asked him “will you help me prepare my bride for my coming?” As he continued to watch, he saw in the distance a wedding gown suspended in midair and the bride trying to make her way towards it. The wedding gown was beaming white. It looks as though it was made from white clouds of Glory. The gown casted a bright shadow to the earth. The young lady then got up from where she was sitting and began to slowly make her way towards the shadow the gown had cast.
And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelations 21:2
She desperately wanted to stand in the shadow of this beautiful, glorious wedding gown. Anytime the radiance from the gown fell on her, demons looking like critters fell from her body and ran away. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:5 She continued to walk towards the dress until she was completely overshadowed by radiance and glow of the gown with a beautiful beaming smile. She was so relived!
Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready. Revelation 19:7
Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, “Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb.” Revelations 21:9
On the third day the vision continued. This time Pastor Perry was taken to heaven to a beautifully decorated ballroom. There he saw the young lady from the alley. However, this time she was wearing the wedding gown! She was beautifully adorned in the wedding gown and being displayed on a rotating pedestal for everyone to behold the Bride of Christ. Jesus was seated on His throne arrayed in His royal regalia and showing off His Bride. Then all the hosts of heaven praised and worshipped Jesus for rescuing and adorning His Bride.
